Monday-Tuesday, December 27-January 4,
I'm getting really bad about not posting. I'll try my best to post sooner.
Monday- Physical therapy. That's pretty much it besides laying around.
Tuesday- Physical therapy. I went over to my grandparent's again. Granny and I went to the mall and then, the consiment (sp?) shop. Then, we came home and I laid around.
Wednesday- I got a break. I just hung out at the house and laid around.
Thursday- Physical therapy. I went to the legion and rode around in the electric wheelchair for a while. It was really fun! I came home and ate. Then, I went up to Katie's. We went shopping and to get our nails done. We went to Burger King and then, we got our nails done at Pro Nails Salon. We went to Toys R Us afterward. We went to Hobby Lobby, too. We went to Starbucks. It was my first time going there. Katie and I both got Vanilla Beans. They were okay but not the best things in the world. Then, we went to the mall and hung out. I came home and hung out.
Friday- I laid around for a while. It being New Year's Eve, everybody wanted me to do something with them. Momma wanted to stay home, Daddy wanted us to go to the legion, Katie wanted me to go to camp, and Samantha wanted me to go to her house. I picked Samantha. I didn't tell Katie though because I told her I was going to the legion. I didn't lie because I didn't know I was going to Samantha's at that time. So, Samantha and Tammy came and got me and we went and picked up pizzas at Dominos. We went home and watched Criminal Minds. We also played with the Wii. Her dad and little brother came home. We all went upstairs and watched more Criminal Minds later. Samantha had to do her treatment. When they went to bed, we made 2011 hats. They looked really cool, lol! Her mom came in there about quarter til so she watched the ball drop with us.
Saturday- It's 2011. I can't believe how fast 2010 went. I didn't want it to end. But I knew it had to. I had to stay awake for 1:11 on 1/1/11. That has been one of the most epic moments of my life. Samantha fell asleep before I did. I wasn't gonna fall asleep before her though. I woke up for a while that morning but I went back to sleep. I got up and got dressed and we went to the mall. We went to Toys R Us later. We also went to her grandparents. Her mom and grandma took done the Christmas tree while we played on our phones and iPods. We went downstairs and talked to her grandpa for a while. He has colon cancer and it has spread to his lungs. He had treatment yesterday. He looked good though when I saw him. Still had a full set of hair. Haha. He's really funny. I've seen him before he got sick so it looked weird for him to be laying on the couch with a blanket over him though. We went to San Marcos after that. It was good and I didn't get sick later.
Sunday- I woke up on my last day to sleep late. I still had Monday and Tuesday off from school but I had therapy both days. So, I laid around most of the day. My hip was hurting pretty bad so I didn't feel like doing anything. We went to the legion at night though. We had fish and oysters. Of course, I didn't eat any. I ate chicken(; Hahaa. I hung out with Dustin the whole time. I came home and hung out.
Monday- I woke up and went to therapy. It was good. I came home and laid around for a while. Haley came over and we made videos to put on Youtube. After many failed attempts, we never did get a video posted. Oh well. It was fun! We watched the Pretty Little Liars marathon some too. She left before the season premiere though. I loved it! It was so good! I can't wait to see what happens next! I just hung out after that.
Tuesday- I went to therapy again but I didn't do anything but the bike. The therapist wants a doctor to look at my GI, so we are gonna hold off therapy. We are going to wait and see what the doctor at Duke says before we go to another doctor. I go back there the 14th. I just got done watching Dear John. I love that movie. I'm waiting for Granny to get here. I have school tomorrow /: I don't wanna go back. But then, I think of Taylor Love. She had stage 4 neuroblastoma as a toddler. Last summer, she was diagnosed with a second cancer, chemo-induced leukemia. She had a bone marrow transplant and was unable to start school in the fall because she was in the hospital. Yesterday, she had her first day of kindergarten. She was so excited. If only everyone could be as excited as her. I know I'm not one of them. The only person I wanna see is Austin. I've seen Samantha and Katie's home schooled anyway. Well, I'm gonna get off here before my Granny shows up. Hope everyone had a great holiday season and hope everyone has the best year yet in 2011!
